The 2026 Edition
The Jacques Delors Conference is the flagship annual event of the Notre Europe Academy. It has two objectives. First, to create a space for dialogue between European leaders and young people so that the latter can express their expectations regarding the European project. Second, to enable young people to better understand the European Union and its policies. This conference, open to all young people aged 16 to 30, also serves as the closing session of the Academy’s free annual training program on European citizenship.
The 2026 edition of the Jacques Delors Conference will focus on the negotiations on the Multiannual Financial Framework and the future EU budget. The theme of the day, which takes place at the Banque de France, is “The EU’s Ambitions Put to the Test by Its Resources”. This event will consist of three main parts:
- Discussions with high-level European figures, featuring as guest of honor Emmanuel Moulin, the new governor of the Banque de France.
- The certificate award ceremony for the Académie Notre Europe program. The 115 young people received their certificates, marking the end of the European year they spent together.
- Educational booths and workshops led by European associations and organizations to highlight European initiatives supporting youth.

High-level interventions
Discussions with European leaders on the multiannual financial framework as a tool for a more competitive, inclusive, and sustainable European Union. The guest of honor at the 2026 event was the new Governor of the Bank of France, Emmanuel Moulin.
The presentation of certificates by the Académie Notre Europe
This conference will also mark the closing ceremony of the annual programme for the 2025–2026 cohort “Sofia Corradi”, a pioneer of the Erasmus programme, which was subsequently developed under the leadership of Jacques Delors. This highlight will provide an opportunity to celebrate the 115 graduates of the 2025–2026 cohort, who for a year met every month to discuss, debate and sometimes even get heated about the European Union and its future.
A citizen forum
A forum with educational stands and workshops run by European organisations to highlight European initiatives for young people and promote active engagement from everyone.
