Jacques Delors Conference 2025

The programme
The Jacques Delors Conference is the annual flagship event of the Notre Europe Academy. It has a dual objective. On the one hand, to open a space for dialogue between European personalities and young people so that the latter can express their expectations regarding the European project. On the other hand, it allows young people to better understand the European Union and its policies. This conference, open to all young people aged 16 to 30, is also the closing session of the free annual training course in European citizenship offered by the Academy. The 2025 edition of the Jacques Delors Conference is being held to mark the centenary of the birth of Jacques Delors. The theme of the day, which will take place at the Banque de France, is ‘Strengthening the Single Market for a sustainable and prosperous future for citizens’. This event is structured around three parts:
- Debates with European personalities aimed at creating a dialogue on the future of Europe. Our speakers will discuss with young people their expectations regarding the European project and the actions that are being carried out by the European institutions in the light of these challenges.
- Educational stands and workshops will be run by European associations and organisations to highlight Jacques Delors’ European action and its impact on the daily lives of citizens.
- A tribute to Jacques Delors, on the centenary of his birth, with a play performed by the young people of the Academy.
