Jacques Delors Conference 2024

European elections: issues and prospects

    The programme

After considering opportunities for mobility at the European level and the ecological transition in our previous editions, this year we placed the Conference under the watchful eye of Jacques Delors, who passed away in December 2023 and whose vision guides our actions. With a few weeks to go before the European elections scheduled for 6 to 9 June 2024, the vote was the common thread of this great European moment. This event was organised around three main activities:

    • Debates with European personalities aimed at creating a dialogue on the future of Europe. Our speakers will discuss with young people their expectations regarding the European project and the actions that are being taken by the European institutions in the light of these challenges.
    • Educational stands and workshops will be run by European organisations and bodies to highlight Jacques Delors’ European action and its impact on the daily lives of citizens.
    • A tribute to Jacques Delors, through an introductory documentary on the career of this great European and a discussion in the presence of current politicians.
