Bouncing with Europe
The programme
How can young people in Europe bounce back when faced with a crisis like the one we are experiencing today? What is Europe doing for young people, and what do they expect from it? These questions were at the heart of the first edition of the Jacques Delors Conference, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Jacques Delors Institute. This event was structured around three parts:
- Debates and talks by major European decision-makers aimed at creating a dialogue on the future of Europe. For this first edition, Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, will be the guest of honour.
- A forum with workshops led by European associations and organisations. Through several online workshops, participants will be able to gain a better understanding of Europe, discover the opportunities for mobility, training and civic engagement available to them, and debate the priorities for EU action.
- A theatrical performance on the theme of Europe. This year, we will present ‘Nous, l’Europe, banquet des peuples’, directed and revisited for the occasion by Roland Auzet.
