Launch of the first school info sessions in 2026
The beginning of 2026 marks the launch of the first school interventions by the Notre Europe Academy. Because ‘learning to know, learning to do, learning to be and learning to live together’ begins in the classroom, our teams are reaching out to young people to talk about Europe and citizenship.

For this first event, the Academy team visited Auguste Perdonnet High School in Thorigny-sur-Marne, where they met with a Year 11 class and a UPE2A class made up of non-native French-speaking students to discuss Europe, civic engagement and the role of each individual in democratic life.
The programme included discussions and activities! First, there was an interactive activity using a giant map to better visualise the European Union and memorise the capitals and flags. Then, there was a timeline game focusing on enlargements and treaties. The aim was to learn about the major events in the EU and understand that the EU is a dynamic project that is constantly evolving over time.
